Description
Combine an authentic Nigerian pattern with a timeless garment in a unique triangular shape!
Adire is the indigo dyed cloth produced by Yoruba women of south western Nigeria. The ancient varieties of resist dye (‘tie and dye’) techniques have been passed on for generations. The typical pattern indigo appearance is well known in- and outside of Nigeria.
As a tribute to Adire we have printed the custom painted images of coloured Adire variations on our silk scarves, providing the soft luxury feel of silk combined with our timeless colourful patterns. Our signature ‘Oduduwa head’ is visibly embedded within the Adire pattern.
The triangular shape of the scarf makes it easy to wear around your neck, as a head scarf or as a hair tie.
100% silk with hand-rolled edges.
90x90x140 cm/35.4×35.4 x 55.1 inches.
